Iran conducted a test of several ballistic missiles on Tuesday, in an act that upset both the United States and the U.N. Reuters reports that the test was made in defiance of both U.S. sanctions against Iran’s missile program and U.N. resolutions against Iran developing nuclear-capable missiles. Iran justified the test as a sign of its conventional deterrent capability and denied any link to its nuclear program.
