The Saudi-led coalition is Yemen has announced that it will be reducing the scale of its operations. The BBC reports that the coalition will still provide some air support and that small teams will continue to train and advise Yemeni troops. The announcement came shortly after it was announced that 100 people, approximately 22 of whom were children, had been killed in a coalition missile strike that hit a market in the Hajja Province. The coalition argued that it was targeting a gathering of Houthi rebels 10 km away from the market, but an investigation into the event is underway. Additionally, the U.N. has determined that none of the groups fighting in Syria are properly trying to protect noncombatants.
