France eyes deals for Airbus, Peugeot, farming as Iran visits

France and Iran have established a set of business deals that will allow benefit a number of French industries in the wake of the removal of economic sanctions against Iran. Part of this deal included the sale of over 100 Airbus planes to Iran. It will also revive car manufacturer Peugeot’s relationship with Iran, and includes plans to develop a factory near Tehran. The deal will be finalized in mid-2016, but signs indicate that France and Iran are seeking to expand their economic relationship in order to boost French industrial concerns and help re-integrate Iran into the global economy.
