Wyden hammers CIA chief over Senate spying

Senator Ron Wyden got into an argument with CIA Director John Brennan during a meeting of the Senate Intelligence Committee. According to The Hill, the argument centered on the improper access of Senate computers by CIA employees in 2014. Wyden repeatedly referred to the incident as the CIA spying on the Senate, while Brennan said that the CIA employees had acted within their rights and that the Senate staffers were actually at fault for the incident. This was the latest in a string of such verbal conflicts on the topic, with previous events including a letter sent to President Obama by Senator Wyden asking that Brennan be forced to apologize.
