Top DOJ prosecutor: ISIS 'actively' seeking cyberattack tools

The U.S. Justice Department has said that the Islamic State is attempting to acquire destructive cyber-weapons, but has not yet done so. Fox News reports that Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Carlin spoke about ISIS’s cyber-ambitions, both in terms of destructive attacks and stealing identifying information about Americans in order to inspire more targeted physical attacks. However, at present, the Islamic State’s cyber-capabilities are not very sophisticated.
