Al-Shabab has accused the U.S. of exaggerating casualty figures following the air strike on its Raso training camp. Reuter reports that the U.S. claimed that 150 militants had been killed in the strike, but al-Shabab has said that it never gathers more than 100 people in one place precisely because of the threat of air strikes. The camp was targeted due to signs that it posed an imminent threat to both U.S. forces and African Union peacekeepers.
