Russia ready to cooperate with U.S.-led coalition in fight for Syria's Raqqa: Interfax

Russia has agreed to work the U.S. coalition to help remove the Islamic State from the city of Raqqa in Syria. Reuters reports that the Russian Foreign Minister said that Russian air forces would focus on the city of Palmyra, while assisting the coalition in Raqqa. Russia appears to have agreed to this plan because Raqqa is in the part of Syria where the United States is most active. It remains unclear to what extent Russia will provide support, or how this will affect future strategic interactions between the U.S. and Russia in Syria.
