Kim Jong-un has announced that North Korea is now capable of producing miniaturized nuclear warheads. The BBC reports that the claim came after North Korea threatened an indiscriminate nuclear assault during the annual military exercises conducted by the U.S. and South Korea. However, there are extensive doubts as to the veracity of the claim since North Korea has exaggerated its military capabilities in the past, and usually does so around this time of year.
