President Obama is going to ask Congress for $450 million dollars to help with the Colombian peace process, in the event that the Colombian government and FARC are able to reach a peace agreement. However, while peace talks with the FARC are going well, the Colombian government is having less success in securing a peace agreement with with the ELN rebel group.
