The United States and Russia held a meeting to try and settle upon a joint set of goals for the conflict in Syria. The Washington Post reports that the meeting occurred after the cancellation of a meeting for the international coordinating group that is responsible for implementing the ceasefire in Syria. The cancellation of the coordination group meeting has cast further doubts upon the feasibility of the ceasefire agreement, and no additional details have been released in regards to the meeting the between the U.S. and Russia.
