Andrea Murta is an associate director with the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center at the Atlantic Council. Andrea, a Brazilian national, joined the Atlantic Council from the intelligence firm Risk Advisory Group, where she ran the Business Intelligence Americas Division. A journalist by training, Andrea has a decade of experience writing about political and economic matters in the US and Emerging Markets, most recently as the Washington, DC, correspondent for Brazil's leading newspaper, Folha de Sao Paulo.
