Tetsuo KOTANI is a senior fellow at the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA). He also teaches at Hosei University and JMSDF Command and Staff College. In addition, he is a nonresident senior research fellow at the Research Institute for Peace and Security (RIPS), and an international advisor to the Project 2049 Institute. Kotani was a visiting scholar at CSIS Japan Chair.
