Jean-Paul Faguet is Professor of the Political Economy of Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he co-chairs the MSc in Development Management. He is also Chair of the Decentralization Task Force of the Initiative for Policy Dialogue at Columbia University. His most recent books include Is Decentralization Good for Development? (Oxford 2015), and Decentralization and Popular Democracy (Michigan 2012).
