Misti Ushio, Ph.D., is a managing partner at Digitalis Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in solutions to complex problems in health. She is also a board director of Digitalis Commons, a non-profit organization which builds solutions for outsized impact on healthcare. Ushio was the founder and CEO of TARA Biosystems, which was acquired in 2022. Previously, she served as chief strategy officer and managing director of Harris & Harris Group, where she advised and invested in life science companies.
