Jim Novakoff

James Novakoff, MSTM, CCA, is an enterprise computer and security architect who previously held architect roles at Accenture Federal Services and Salesforce. He has provided engineering services to the Department of Defense — including the Defense Health Agency — other government agencies, and cybersecurity firms, as well as to Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, New York Life, CVS/Aetna, Allstate, and State Farm. He also served as the Salesforce technical and security architect for the federal Thrift Savings Plan. He is a Certified CMMC Assessor with deep experience preparing cloud and SaaS environments — including AWS and Salesforce GovClouds — for CMMC Level 2 assessment. His work in automating compliance verification is the basis for the assessment-accuracy analysis in this article.
