Brigadier General Gwyn Armfield (Ret.)  recently completed nearly three decades of service in the US Air Force.  He is the founder of  RGA Consulting Group which advises clients on leadership, risk management and technology development.

During his time in the military, he served as the U.S. Central Command Vice Director for Strategy and Plans, Deputy Commanding General for U.S. and Coalition Special Operations Forces in Afghanistan and commanded special operations units at the squadron, group and wing level to include a Special Mission Unit.

Previously, he was a National Security Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, served as Chief of Strategy for U.S. European Command and Aide de Camp to the Secretary of the Air Force.

In 2002, he received the Air Force’s top leadership recognition, the Lance Sijan Leadership Award, for actions in Afghanistan. He has decades of experience leading fast paced, dynamic organizations and has a passion for building high-performing teams to solve complex problems.
