FORMER CIPHER BRIEF EXPERT currently serving as Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis at the Department of Homeland Security. Ken Wainstein is former Homeland Security Advisor to President George W. Bush. In this capacity, he coordinated the nation’s counterterrorism, homeland security, infrastructure protection, and disaster response and recovery efforts.
